In certain situations institutions may need to override the calculation processes. The following section outlines the solutions that allow institutions to:
Depending on the configuration of an application screen, users may be able to disable the CUNA Calculator updating the Calculate Amortization field.
By default, this check box is selected which indicates the application is to be calculated. If this checkbox is cleared, the application is not calculated and the loan term fields must be manually updated. If the calculator is disabled:
Editability rights may also be established for the following fields:
If the amortization is enabled, default editability set by the institution applies.

If amortization is disabled after an application has been calculated, the calculated values are retained and able to be edited. |
In some situations, the calculation of Aggregates, Ratios, Credit Report Processing, Pricing, Risk, and Fees are not automatically executed by Temenos Infinity. For example, some connectors are able to transmit pre-approved or approved applications. These applications include Aggregates and Ratios that were used by the connector to approve the application. In these situations, Temenos Infinity should not recalculate Aggregates and Ratios in order to ensure the connector provided values do not get overwritten by the values calculated by the module.
Five fields exist which allow institutions to activate and deactivate these components of the calculation process.
These fields are check boxes that can be set by rule logic. If the check boxes are flagged appropriately, the corresponding action will or will not be called.
For example, an institution may write an Event Processing rule using the "Set the value of a field" template.
Once written, this rule can be assigned to an Event which fires when an application is created. This ensures the applicable fields are set appropriately at the outset of an application.
